Jeff Branson joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in 2010 as Ronan Malloy, a police detective who is partnered with Chance (John Driscoll) and has a secret that could changes the lives of many Genoa City residents.
Branson won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role on "Guiding Light" in 2009, and received a nomination for the award for his performance as Jonathan Lavery on "All My Children" in 2005.
Raised in Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., Branson moved to New York City to attend the American Musical & Dramatic Academy. Upon graduation, he went on tour with a production of "Romeo and Juliet." Soon, he landed roles in Off-Broadway shows and worked his way up to supporting roles on television programs such as "Law & Order: SVU," "Strangers with Candy" and "Without a Trace."
Feature credits include supporting roles in "Delirious," "Shaft" "The Magnificent Cooley-T," and the lead in "The Big Bad Swim."
Branson enjoys donating his time to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
