WINNIPEG — The Assiniboine Park Zoo showed off its newest addition Tuesday.
The 11-month-old 95-pound female polar bear flew in from Churchill Monday evening and remains in quarantine at the zoo’s still-unfinished International Polar Bear Conservation Centre.
Zoo officials released video of the cub having a bath.
There are two other polar bears at the centre: two-year-old Hudson and an unnamed 3-year-old recently brought from Churchill, both males.
