New Westminster Police say woman sexually assaulted in break-and-enter

New Westminster Police say a woman was sexually assaulted after a man broke in to her apartment through the sliding balcony door.

Police say the woman was at her home in the 1200-block of London Street around 9 p.m. when she was confronted by the suspect.

The man sexually assaulted the woman and then fled with two laptop computers and her wallet.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 6′ foot tall, in his 40s, thin, with short white-grey hair and green or blue eyes. He was wearing dark track pants, white sports shoes and a scarf wrapped around his face at the time of the attack.
