A 49-year-old man in Canada illegally since 1995 has been deported to South Korea following a sexual assault investigation by Transit Police.
Police said that on February 4, a commuter reported seeing a man inappropriately touching women on the 99 B-Line bus route, which runs along Broadway to the University of B.C.

Plainclothes officers initiated an investigation and caught the man in the act. He was subsequently arrested, but was evasive in identifying himself.
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) was called and the man was identified and found to have been illegally in Canada since 1995. It was also determined he was wanted in South Korea on multiple outstanding warrants for financial crimes, including fraud and embezzlement totalling close to $200,000.
Seung Woo Min, who was living in Vancouver, was subsequently sent back to South Korea.
