HALIFAX – Halifax police say a man who arranged to sell a piece of jewelry through an online Kijiji ad ended up being robbed by the purported buyers.

Police say the 25-year-old victim was sprayed with a noxious substance after giving the jewelry to the two men last night in Dartmouth.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The two men took off on foot.
Police say they have not yet made any arrests.
