What was everyone talking about this past weekend? (Other than another Ticat loss, of course.)

Naturally, the unseasonably warm weather!

With temperatures in the mid- to high 20s in southern Ontario this weekend, many were openly welcoming the summer we didn’t really have.

With only two days hitting 30 degrees in the greater Hamilton area this season, no one ever expected these temperatures in mid-September.

The only hassle is that it’s obvious the days are getting shorter as the sun is going down earlier and earlier, now  setting before 7:30 p.m.

By 8, it already feels like 11 p.m, and you’re ready for bed!

Fight through it, I say — even if it means BBQing in the dark.

Is there any better way to pay tribute to our fine country during its 150th year than showing up to the rink for your kid’s hockey practice in shorts?

After all, you are Canadian, aren’t you?

Enjoy your summer!
