Calgary police said Wednesday that officers have arrested a man wanted for attempted murder in connection with a domestic abuse-related probe.
Police said Joseph Junior Vienneau was taken into custody at about 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, police said they would not release information on the incident itself to “protect the privacy of the victim.”
Investigators said the 45-year-old was also wanted on charges of failing to comply with a protection order and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police said tips from the public helped officers “quickly locate the wanted individual.”
