Calgary police said two people were found dead inside a home in the 30 block of Glengrove Close S.W. Saturday.
When EMS arrived to the scene at around 11:30 a.m., they were met outside by three children ranging from young school ages to early teens, who directed them to inside the home.
Once inside, paramedics said they found two adults dead. No resuscitation was attempted and the children were unharmed.
EMS have not confirmed the relationship of the children to each other, or to the two people found dead in the southwest Calgary home.
“I have no idea what to say. There didn’t seem like there was too much going on in that house. They seem like pretty peaceful, you wouldn’t hear screams. There’s never been police in our area, so it’s so unexpected,” Noor Alsaadi, a neighbour, said.
The cause of death is not known. Police continue to investigate.
