A family of seven have been displaced from their home, just weeks before Christmas, following a fire Thursday in New Brunswick.
The blaze broke out at a residence in Penobsquis, N.B. about 12 kilometres east of Sussex.

There were no injuries from the fire. The cause remains under investigation.
The Canadian Red Cross is assisting the family, who is staying with relatives for the time being, with the emergency purchase of clothing and food.
