Getting to and from the NHL Heritage Classic games in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — The NHL Heritage Classic is finally here. The Alumni game will kick things off on Saturday and the Heritage Classic game between the Winnipeg Jets and the Edmonton Oilers will be played on Sunday.

If you’re hoping to take part in the action there are a few options for getting to the Investors Group Field to enjoy the games and festivities.

Game Day Parking: 

  • Can purchase $25 parking passes in advance or $10 for Value Lot parking behind the University of Manitoba. A shuttle will run from the value lot to the stadium every 10 to 15 minutes.

On-Campus Cash Parking: 

  • First come, first served parking. $25 per car or $10 for the value lot. A shuttle will run from the value lot to the stadium every 10 to 15 minutes.

Game Day Park and Ride: 

  • You can park at one of the usual park and ride locations for $5.

Winnipeg Transit: 

Running Back Shuttle: 

  • This shuttle will run during pre-game and offer free rides from the stadium west on Chancellor Matheson, north on Pembina, south on University Crescent and back to the IGF.

Bike Valet: 

  • This will be outside Gate 3.

Taxi: 

  • Taxis will be found on University Crescent outside Gate 3.
