How often have you changed your mind about buying something or taken your business elsewhere because you received poor customer service? According to a study by Accenture, 49 per cent of Canadians have done just that in the past year.

So where in Canada can you find great customer service? Market research experts J.D. Power say several Canadian companies, mainly in the automotive, finance and insurance industries, fare best with consumers.

The company’s website says their “power circle ratings are based on independent and unbiased feedback from millions of verified product and service owners.” To determine who’s tops, each company is voted as among the best, better than most, above average and average in a variety of categories by purchasers.
