Dixie Chicks add September concert in Saskatoon to summer tour

The Dixie Chicks have added a concert in Saskatchewan as part of North American summer tour. The trio is set to perform Sept. 30 at SaskTel Centre.

The multi-platinum selling act have scheduled their “DCX World Tour MMXVI” to stop in Saskatoon with special guest Elle King.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, June 10. Prices range from $69 to $129, plus taxes and service charges.

Over the years, the Dixie Chicks have sold over 30 million albums worldwide and won 13 Grammy awards.

As one of Live Nation’s highest-selling tours of the summer, it’s prompted the band to add additional dates. The Dixie Chicks will now visit over 50 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The tour’s other Canadian stops include Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.
