Okanagan forecast

Friday, April 22, 2016 – Weather forecast update at 4pm:

Cooler and unsettled weather with the possibility of afternoon convective showers and/or thundershowers is the result of cooler air aloft. Late afternoon sunny breaks triggered some doozies in the Nicola region this afternoon. Tomorrow, convective showers will once again be dependant on sunny breaks heating surface temperatures up enough to provide the necessary lift and instability; there’s a slight chance. Better chance of polite rain showers pushing in Saturday evening and into Sunday. Not record breaking temperatures and sunshine anymore, but it’s only April after all and we need the rain.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Saturday’s daytime high range:  13C to 18C

We will have the rest of your weather details coming up at 5 and 6:30 and 11pm – Hope you can join us!
