ST. JOHN’S, N.L. – Relatives of a Newfoundland woman killed in Saskatchewan nearly five years ago are angry over what they say is a lack of progress in the case. They say Carol King, 40, of Mattis Point had complained to police about being stalked and fearing for her life, before she disappeared from her home in Herschel, Sask., on August 6, 2011.

Her submerged car was found near her property, while her body was found on an abandoned farm.

Brenda King says she still doesn’t know how her sister died.

She says family members are angry with the way the case has been handled from the start, and don’t get any updates or detailed information because it’s an ongoing investigation.

King says they are many unusual elements to the story, including the fact her sister’s body was found in a spot that she had already searched, and that she was told it had been placed there afterwards.

She also says a monument with a cryptic message was erected on the site where her sister’s body was found and her home later burned under suspicious circumstances.
