SASKATOON – Police say they have seized thousands of dollars in stolen property. The property was seized after a search Tuesday of a home on Banyon Crescent in Saskatoon’s Briarwood neighbourhood.

A 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman are facing charges of being in possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and trafficking property obtained by crime.

The pair were arrested on Monday for on drug trafficking charges and possession of stolen property. Police allege they were in possession of an enclosed 2015 Royal trailer that had been stolen in the city during Christmas time.

They will appear Wednesday morning in Saskatoon provincial court.
