LETHBRIDGE – Blood Tribe police continue to battle drug issues on the reserve with another significant bust.
On Jan. 11, Blood Tribe Police Service and the Crime Reduction Unit searched a house in Standoff, seizing nearly $30,000 in cocaine and fentanyl.
Kyle Mitchell Saddleback was arrested at the scene; he had been released on conditions for previous charges and was banned from the blood tribe.
He is facing a number of charges, including:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine;
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl;
- Breach of recognizance (x9);
- Breach of a band council resolution.
Saddleback has been taken into custody and will appear in Lethbridge court Jan. 14 for a bail hearing.
