29th Street West store robbed for the 2nd time in less than a week

SASKATOON – For the second time in less than a week, a store in the 800-block of 29th Street West has been robbed. The most recent robbery happened Wednesday evening around 7:45 p.m. CT.

Employees told police three men, armed with two guns and pepper spray, demanded money and cigarettes.

The men then deployed the pepper spray before fleeing with cash and smokes.

The first suspect was wearing a black Under Armour hoodie that has a white logo on the front, a grey toque or hood, a black balaclava, white gloves, blue jeans and grey running shoes.

The second suspect was wearing a black Adidas jacket with grey striping down the side, light coloured jeans and black shoes with white soles and red laces.

The third suspect was wearing a black jacket with a North Face logo on the left chest and rear shoulder area, a white bandana, black gloves, dark jeans and white shoes.

On Sunday, an armed man wearing a grey Under Armour hoodie robbed the store of cash and cigarettes.
