Munenori Kawasaki brightened up Christmas for some sick children as he slipped into a Santa outfit and visited a hospital in Kurume, Japan.
The animated infielder made a surprise visit to Kurume University Hospital in southwest Japan Tuesday, chatting with children and taking questions.
Kawasaki is highly popular in Toronto and known throughout the major leagues for his hilarious and enthusiastic interviews.
He joined the Blue Jays in 2013 and has bounced between the major and minor leagues in the ensuing seasons. He is currently a free agent.
