4 people facing 38 charges after Moose Jaw robbery

REGINA – Police in Regina have laid 38 charges against four people and recovered guns, ammunition, a truck, and cash after a theft from a Moose Jaw residence on the night of December 2-3.

Regina Police learned some of the stolen items were in Regina, and on December 3rd executed two search warrants in the 800 and 900 block of Rae Street where they recovered a gun, some ammunition, the truck and some cash.

On December 4th Regina Police executed another search warrant at a residence on Transcona Place and recovered a substantial amount of ammunition and a scope for a rifle. Moose Jaw Police executed a search warrant at a residence on River Street East where they recovered two guns.

On December 5th, Regina Police obtained consent to search a residence on Merrit Crescent where they recovered a rifle and police also executed a search warrant at a residence on Barr Street where they recovered a shotgun.

During the investigation 19 people were taken into custody to be interviewed and the following individuals were charged.

19-year-old Darren Blair McNab, 18-year-old Braiden Shade Hotomani, 18-year-old Emile Hotomani, and a 17-year-old youth are all facing a slew of robbery and firearm charges.

The youth made his first court appearance last Friday and Darren McNab and Braiden Hotomani both appeared in court on Monday morning.
