MONTREAL – A 26-year old man was arrested early Sunday morning after three employees of a Crescent Street bar were stabbed.
According to police an argument inside the establishment between the suspect and the three employees poured out into the street at 3:10 a.m.
Once outside, the suspect stabbed a 19-year-old employee in the ribs and then fled the scene.
The two other employees gave chase.When they caught up to the man, the 21-year-old employee was stabbed in the leg, and a 38-year old suffered minor injuries to the chest.
Police on patrol were able to locate the suspect and arrested him.
Two of the three employees were taken to hospital and are in stable condition.
The suspect is being detained for questioning and police have met with witnesses.
A perimeter has been set up as crime scene technicians and investigators comb the area for clues.
The investigation is ongoing.
