REGINA – The 2015 Canadian Western Agribition wraps up Saturday and organizers plan on closing out the week-long event with a traditional bang.

For only the second time in 45 years, jousting will be allowed at Agribition.

“This is by far the most extreme sport in the world,” said Shane Adams, the captain and owner of Knights of Valour.

The travelling group of jousters are made up of adrenaline-thrilled individuals from all over the world including Canada, the U.S. and Europe.

Six jousters will take to the Brandt Centre on Saturday for competition.

The competitors say the Agribition stage is one of their biggest on their tour and that fans are in for a treat.

“It’s that focus, it’s that controlled adrenaline and even though you’re charging at that speed and the person’s closing at you at that speed, it’s somewhat of a dream. And when the lances lower and you strike, that dream turns into a nightmare,” explained Adams.
