Ryan Gosling, William Shatner and other celebs weigh in on Paris attacks

After the ISIS attacks in Paris killed 129 people and injured over 300 more, movie and TV stars were quick to voice their disgust and sorrow about the terrorist acts.

“I am bewildered by the policy of shooting someone dead in order to enforce your philosophy,” said Star Trek star William Shatner. “I don’t get it. The only thing it arouses in me is fear, resentment and distrust.”

Canadian heartthrob Ryan Gosling was more to the point: “It’s a nightmare.”

“My heart just breaks for the refugees, because it’s going to be so much harder [for them] now,” said activist and actress Jane Fonda.

British actor Christian Bale was basically speechless, only able to utter some mumbles and a long-winded “umm.” Clearly, people are still in shock after the horrific events.
