Memorials for Paris attacks planned for Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — A memorial for those killed and injured in the Paris attacks will take place Monday at Universite de Saint-Boniface.

The French Honourary Consulate in Winnipeg Bruno Burnichon will speak at the vigil along with the director of the institution.

A smaller memorial also took place Sunday evening at 5 p.m. at the Precious Blood Parish at 200 Kenny St.

A vigil on the front steps of the Manitoba Legislature Saturday afternoon attracted dozens of mourners.
