Canada’s Walk of Fame adds Buble, Cherry and MacLean, Laumann

TORONTO – The 2015 Canada’s Walk of Fame inductees include chart-topping crooner Michael Buble, Olympian Silken Laumann, the late Lorne Greene, actress Wendy Crewson, “Hockey Night In Canada”‘s Don Cherry and Ron MacLean, as well as Book of Negroes author Lawrence Hill and we caught up with all of the honourees on the CWOF red carpet on Saturday.

The six inductees bring the total number of CWOF stars to 161 and they were inducted at a gala ceremony held on Saturday, November 7 at the Sony Centre in Toronto.

In addition, teenage pop phenom Shawn Mendes (recipient of the 2015 Allan Slaight Honour) performed and of course we caught up with him (and so did his fans) on the carpet on his way into the Sony Centre.

The Canada’s Walk of Fame show will be televised as a two-hour special airing on Global on December 17.
