Nearly 2.5 million Canadians cast their ballot over the weekend ahead of election day on Oct. 19.
So who are they voting for?
They’re mostly men but there are more women than ever running in the 2015 election. Five hundred and thirty seven women are on the ballot (as of Sept. 28), far less than the 1,793 men. That’s about 30 per cent of candidates – up two per cent from last election.
