A suspicious person was seen in the area at the time. He is described as First Nations, with long black hair in a pony tail, wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans.

Two weeks prior, on Sept. 12, there was another break and enter of an apartment in the same block, with the thief making off with a computer.

Police officials are reminding people to secure their property, ensure windows and doors are locked and to immediately report any suspicious activity.
