Man trapped in truck after two-vehicle crash in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in downtown Saskatoon Thursday. A truck flipped over to its side by 4th Avenue North and 24th Street East just before 12 p.m. CT, trapping a man inside the vehicle.

Emergency crews had to rescue the man through the back of the truck. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 29-year-old man was also treated at the scene and released.
