A teen has been arrested following a home invasion and chase south of Saskatoon early Friday morning. Mounties were first called to investigate a number of break and enters to homes in the Dundurn area.
Mounties called in the Saskatoon police air support unit to help them track the suspects who were driving a black Dodge Journey and a white Ford pickup truck, which had been stolen in Saskatoon.
The drivers sped off when Mounties tried to stop the vehicles, leading to a chase.
The pickup truck got away but police were able to disable the Dodge Journey using spike belts. The driver then fled on foot towards Dundurn.
