LAVAL – Two children were sent to hospital after being struck by a car in Laval.
It happened Thursday afternoon in the Vimont district.

The one and two-year-old toddlers were walking on the sidewalk with their mother.
They were hit after two vehicles collided and the momentum propelled one car onto the sidewalk.
There are reports the children were pinned under the car.
Its believed one of them, a boy, suffered a head fracture and the girl suffered a broken arm.
The mother was not hit, but she was treated for shock.
