Okanagan forecast: cooler Friday, but a warm weekend ahead

Weather update: Thursday, August 20, 2015 4:15pm

We will feel the effects of a cold front tomorrow when temperatures will be quite a bit cooler and we will see variable cloud.

There is minimal moisture associated with this front, so only a slight chance of showers for the Okanagan and a 40% chance of showers for the Shuswap for the very early morning hours on Friday. The Columbia will see a much greater chance of a shower overnight and Friday.

Behind the front we will see partial clearing on Friday, and then a return to sunshine and above seasonal average temps for the weekend!

Friday’s daytime high range: 18 to 25C

More details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!
