Police searching for missing Edmonton man

WATCH ABOVE: Edmonton police are searching for clues into the disappearance of an Edmonton man. 

EDMONTON – An Edmonton man has been missing for nearly two months and police are concerned for his well-being.

Awet Ghebre, 23, was last seen by his family on June 14 and last heard from when he called his family on June 17.

There are concerns for Ghebre’s safety because his disappearance is out of character, said Edmonton police.

Ghebre is a black male, about 5’9″ tall, 155 lbs, with short, black hair. He has pierced ears and several tattoos on his right arm.

The homicide section is assisting in the investigation and police are looking to talk with anyone who has information about Ghebre’s disappearance.
