DOLLARD-DES-ORMEAUX – A woman in her 60s is in critical condition after being hit by a car near the corner of Brunswick and Davignon streets in DDO.
The accident happened around 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
“She got severe injuries to her head and was transported to hospital,” said André Leclerc with Montreal police.
“She is in an induced coma. We do fear for her life.”
Police said the accident happened at a very low speed as the driver, a man in his late 70s, was turning on a red light.
It was also raining at the time.

Investigators were on the scene for the better part of the day trying to figure out what happened.
