Winnipeg – Police have two men in custody, following a pursuit between officers and the suspects in a stolen vehicle overnight Saturday.
Last week, a Jeep Liberty was reported stolen from a home on Brazier Street.
Around midnight Saturday, East District Patrol officers spotted the stolen vehicle near Henderson Highway. A car chase ensued between the driver in the stolen Jeep and officers.
Air 1 and canine units were called in for back up.
The erratic driver in the stolen vehicle crashed on Springfield Road a short time later, causing damage to one property in the 400 block of Springfield Road.
No serious injuries were reported from the crash.
Police made two arrests on scene. A 21-year-old man and 17-year-old man are charged with numerous offences.
Both individuals remain in police custody.
