Dave Wilson launches leadership campaign for Nova Scotia NDP

HALIFAX – Dave Wilson has annouced he will run for the leadership of the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party.

Wilson made the announcement at an event in Lower Sackville on Sunday.

He has represented the district of Sackville-Cobequid in the provincial legislature since 2003 and was a cabinet member under premier Darrell Dexter.

The NDP currently hold five of the 51 seats in the Nova Scotia legislature.
