Okanagan forecast: a change so small you might not even notice it

Weather update: Thursday May 21st 4:30pm

If you like the sun, you will like the weather again Friday. In previous model runs we noticed a weak low that was to track to the south of us this weekend, but now that feature has almost become nonexistent.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

A trough over parts of the inland sections will continue to kick up isolated showers and thundershowers for the BC Interior.  For the most part these showers have stayed to the north and the west of our region.

With that said, as we head into the weekend, the trough could slide over our region.  So while some areas will stay dry this weekend, we have also kept in a 30% to a 40% chance of an afternoon shower for Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday’s daytime high range: 24 to 30C

More details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!
