WATCH ABOVE: ‘The Man and the Dog’ organ donation PSA goes viral
TORONTO – A public service announcement intended for Argentina has gone global because of the incredible loyalty a dog shows to his dying owner.
The video stars a lovable dog seemingly joined at the hip with his elderly male owner. The pair are shown enjoying a day together until the older gentleman gets sick and is forced to go to the hospital.
The man’s best friend patiently waits outside the hospital doors for what seems like days but his owner never comes back.
What happens, instead, is quite simply amazing. A woman leaves the hospital and is slowly recognized by the dog as a recipient of his owner’s organ donation.
The emotional story was published Wednesday on YouTube by marketing firm DDB Worldwide and has been watched nearly 100,000 times at the time of this writing.
