Facebook is once again changing News Feed and the content you see in it.

On Tuesday, the social media giant announced changes to News Feed aimed at showing users “the content that matters to you.”

Facebook said the changes were based on feedback it received from users on how to improve their personal News Feed experience.

The company said it “learned that people are worried about missing important updates from the friends they care about,” in a blog post.

As such, one of the changes to News Feed is that content posted directly by your friends will appear higher up in your News Feed, “so you are less likely to miss it.”

However, due to user feedback, stories about your friends liking or commenting on a post will appear lower down in your News Feed, or won’t appear at all.

“Many people have told us they don’t enjoy seeing stories about their friends liking or commenting on a post,” the blog post read.

If you happen to interact with content from pages, you will still see that content in your News Feed. However, Facebook said that pages may see their traffic and reach decline due to the changes.

Finally, Facebook is relaxing a rule about displaying multiple posts from the same source, so that people who don’t have a lot of content on their News Feed won’t run out of posts to interact with.
