According to Evraz Place, there were significant cost over-runs that they are not prepared to pay for.

“There actually is written confirmation of the amount of our contribution to the project that was provided to the group on October 21st before the work began, and that is the amount we are prepared to commit to the project,” said Mark Allan, Evraz Place president and CEO.

Allan said they’ve referred the matter to their legal counsel and would like to come to a resolution outside of the courts.
