REGINA – Keen-eyed residents have spotted what looks to be progress at the site of a proposed condo development in Regina, but the project director says there is still no timeline for construction.

Wooden hoarding that had been surrounding the Capital Pointe site at Albert St. and Victoria Ave. was removed on Tuesday to prepare for “future work on the site,” according to project director Greg Black.

However, Black says there is still no timeline for construction to begin and he refused to speculate on a start date.

“There are a couple of negotiations we’re still finalizing that are taking a bit longer than we had hoped,” Black said.

Black says that all permits required to begin construction are still in place and that he’s hopeful work will begin on the site this summer.
