How would you like to run forward and backward at the same time?   You can – by running through the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site during the Citadel Highlander run on April 26th. MEC’s Christine Krochak comes in to talk about this 5 and 10 km event and kids’ fun run – and to show off some spring running gear.

He challenged the Arctic face on. No was not a word in his vocabulary. David van de Wetering took part in the North Pole Marathon to raise money for Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia. He joins us at 7:15 to tell us about his experience and his new, upcoming venture.

And we’ll get another Big Brother Canada roundup from former contestant and friend of the show Scott Bosse at 7:45am. He’ll give us the scoop on the action inside the house this week and help to set up the big eviction happening Wednesday night on Global Television.

As protests against changes to the Nova Scotia film tax credit ramp up we dig into the underlying questions about the credit. We’ll have live reports throughout the morning from outside Province House with Marieke Walsh. Actor Jonathan Torrens will join us live at 8:15am to talk about the concerns he has about how the changes that were introduced and he’ll explain what he thinks the next steps should be.

Salmon populations are in crisis and no one really knows why. But there are people helping. At 8:45am we’ll talk with  Amy Weston – NSLC Adopt-A-Stream Program Coordinator about  the in/outs and finer details of the program and tell you how you can get involved.
