SASKATOON – Campaigning for the University of Saskatchewan Student Union (USSU) positions started Tuesday morning on campus. Current USSU president Max Fineday is passing the torch after two terms of what he calls a full-time job.

“You’re only allowed to take one class per semester when you serve as president, so it’s definitely a commitment,” said Fineday. “It’s great to engage with the student body and represent their best interests to the government and larger organizations.

“It’s important to vote so you know that what you care about, is being talked about.”

There are a number of forums on campus for students, and voting begins on Wednesday, March 25.
