WINNIPEG – A driver who crashed into a West End restaurant, causing extensive damage, has been ticketed for careless driving, Winnipeg police say.
The car smashed through the front of the Filipino restaurant on Sargent Avenue west of Arlington Street during the lunch hour Sunday. Two people were taken to hospital, police said.
Myrna’s Café and Catering suffered extensive damage to its structure, police said.
