WATCH ABOVE: Police are investigating after a suspicious fire at Harfang-des-Neiges elementary school in Pierrefonds.
PIERREFONDS-ROXBORO – Montreal police are investigating a fire that broke out Saturday night at Harfang-des-Neiges elementary school in Pierrefonds.
The fire, which has been classified suspicious by local authorities, broke out around 1 a.m. at 4770 Pierre-Lauzon street.
Jean-Pierre Brabant with the Montreal police says there was only minor damage near the front of the school because firefighters were quick to arrive on the scene.

Police are also investigating a possible break-in at the back of the school.
They are looking for one or more suspects.
Harfang-des-Neiges elementary is expected to be open on Monday.
