Calgary – CP crews are investigating a train derailment near the Crowsnest Pass.
It happened around 5:15 a.m. on Saturday in the Frank Slide area, between Bellevue and Blairmore, Alberta.
RCMP say several cars of a Canadian Pacific train went off the track.
No injuries have been reported and Mounties say Highway 3 remains open at this time.
It is not known what was in the cars and no leakages have been reported.
Last December another CP rail train derailed near Banff, sending cars carrying lentils and fly ash into 40 Mile Creek.
