Okanagan forecast: Cloud and Fog

Weather update: Tuesday January 27th 8:45am

A very persistent upper ridge will keep any significant weather systems from crossing our region over the next few days, and little or no precipitation is in the forecast.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Today, a weak upper disturbance will bring high clouds to the area, but those of us in the valley will also be under low clouds as well.

Fog has also been an issue as we have had a very stable weather pattern with a strong temperature inversion. The weak upper level trough will encourage some vertical movement of air to help the fog dissipate today.

Daytime high temperatures will stay above freezing over the next several days.
See you tonight at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!
