EDMONTON – Highway 15 north of Edmonton had to be closed Tuesday night after a collision involving flammable liquids.

RCMP say the crash involved a tanker truck and a picker truck, and forced the closure of Highway 15 between Range Roads 202 and 204 near Bruderheim.

Traffic had to be rerouted into the night as crews cleaned up the flammable liquid.

RCMP believe icy road conditions are to blame for the crash.

The highway was re-opened around 3:30 Wednesday morning.
