New York Rangers send promising forward Duclair to Quebec Remparts

QUEBEC — Forward Anthony Duclair will rejoin the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League after helping Canada win gold at the world junior championship, the Remparts confirmed Tuesday.

Duclair started the season with the NHL’s New York Rangers, scoring a goal and adding six assists in 18 games.

The high-scoring winger had four goals and four assists in seven world junior games.

Goaltender Zach Fucale will also be joining the Remparts. He was acquired from the Halifax Mooseheads in a trade just ahead of the world junior tournament.

The Remparts are hosting the Memorial Cup junior hockey championship this year.
