Manitoba under extreme cold warning

WINNIPEG – Manitobans are bundling up for the bitter cold.

The province is still blanketed by an Extreme Cold Warning, with wind chills reaching between -40 and -45C.

Temperatures dropped to -34C Sunday morning, without wind chill, and are expected to stay below normal throughout the week.

The average low for this time of year is -22C according to Environment Canada.
