MONCTON, N.B. – RCMP say a snowmobile crash has claimed the life of a 19-year-old man from Riviere-Verte, N.B.
Officers responded to a report of a crash in Saint-Basile on Wednesday.

Two snowmobilers were found down an embankment and taken to hospital.
One man died later in hospital, while the other man is listed in stable condition.
Police say the men weren’t wearing helmets and believe alcohol was also a contributing factor in the crash.
The victim’s name has not been released.
