Fredericton recycling plant on fire

FREDERICTON – The recycling plant on Allison Blvd. in Fredericton in currently on fire. Thick black smoke is filling the sky around the plant and can be seen for several kilometres.

Fredericton Fire Department crews are on the scene, and have just called in an excavator to pull down the structure before it collapses.

Crews from the Oromocto Fire Department and the New Maryland Fire Department have been called in to help.
